A second series of Together for Safer Communities meetings will begin next week to promote crime prevention and provide reassurance to residents.
The first session will take place at Mistley Community Hall in Church Road, Vange, between 7pm and 9pm on Monday 25 June.
The meetings aim to give residents the chance to discuss community safety issues and concerns. Free crime prevention materials will also be available including property and bike marking kits, window alarms, signal blockers for key fobs, vehicle crime packs, number plate screws, personal alarms, contactless card defenders, purse dipping bells and ‘No Cold Calling’ stickers.
Further meetings will take place on the following dates:
Monday 9 July, 7pm to 9pm – Langham Hall, Langham Crescent
Monday 30 July, 7pm to 9pm – Wickford CLC (small hall), Grange Avenue
Monday 17 September, 7.30pm to 9.30pm – Kingswood Play Centre, Clayhill Road
Lee Chapel North
Monday 1 October, 7pm to 9pm – Lee Chapel North Community Centre, Ballards Walk
