World Vegan Month: Down Hall plates up for the planet

Down Hall’s Grill Room is plating up for the planet for World Vegan Month with a dedicated vegan menu. Focusing on seasonality and great British produce, the dishes are set to delight diners with flavour, freshness and versatility this November.

Shining a light on veg, enjoy British Heritage beetroot with hazelnut, apple and horseradish (£7) followed by suitably spiced onion squash served alongside courgette, celeriac, wild rice and lentils (£16). Not forgetting dessert, tuck into an aptly named ‘Down Hall Apple Tart’ with plant-based clotted cream and crushed hazelnuts (£7.50).

Additional specials will change during the month depending on ingredient supplies as the restaurant continues to focus on the best quality seasonal produce.

Whether you decide to forgo meat in favour of veg for environmental reasons, or you just fancy the challenge, Down Hall’s vegan dishes give vegans, vegetarians or carnivores the opportunity to get a little experimental this World Vegan Month.
