Down Hall’s Grill Room is plating up for the planet for World Vegan Month with a dedicated vegan menu. Focusing on seasonality and great British produce, the dishes are set to delight diners with flavour, freshness and versatility this November.
Shining a light on veg, enjoy British Heritage beetroot with hazelnut, apple and horseradish (£7) followed by suitably spiced onion squash served alongside courgette, celeriac, wild rice and lentils (£16). Not forgetting dessert, tuck into an aptly named ‘Down Hall Apple Tart’ with plant-based clotted cream and crushed hazelnuts (£7.50).
Additional specials will change during the month depending on ingredient supplies as the restaurant continues to focus on the best quality seasonal produce.
